The Concept Behind Our Program:
Put simply: Every time you diet, your body is initially “shocked” with the change you made, and loses weight as a result. Slowly, your body adapts to the changes you are implementing, and puts you in a “plateau”.
In order to combat this, Leen has developed the Anti-Plateau “LEAN for LIFE” program. It is a 6-phase regimen where every 2 weeks, a completely different diet is prescribed. The LEAN for LIFE has been tested on thousands of people and consistently showed fast, sustainable results.
This program will definitely keep your body on its toes! With constant changes, your body will not even have time to adjust nor plateau. All meaning ,consistent Fat Loss for you!
The 6 Phases of this Program: LEAN For Life:
Launch (2 weeks) - This is what is included in the first consultation
Energize (2 weeks) - This phase will need to be booked separately as a follow up
Attack (2 weeks)
Nourish (2 weeks)
FatBurn (2 weeks)
LoseTheLastFew (2 weeks)
How it works:
Step 1: A 45 min-to- 1 hour initial consultation will take place in our clinic, during which:
First: Leen will thoroughly go over your past medical history, weight loss history, current exercise regimen, and current food intake.
Second: Leen will educate you on the best exercise to reach YOUR goal. Together, you will decide on an exercise regiment that you feel comfortable with. (if you have no time to exercise, Leen will work around that)
Third: Leen will have you step on the INBODY Body Composition Analyzer. She will then explain what is happening inside your body, and show you:
-your current fat (per lb), and what areas of your body hold the most fat
- Visceral fat : she will measure the unhealthy fat in your stomach that increases heart disease, and will track it with time to make sure it becomes normal.
-current muscle (per lb) , and what muscles you need to strengthen (targeted, personalized advice)
-current water (are you retaining water?- advice if you are)
- set overall goals based on your body composition (how much fat to lose, how much muscle to gain...)
Fourth: An extensive nutrition education session will be given. Leen will teach you the basics of healthy eating using practical tips: how to identify healthy bread, what bread to buy at the supermarket.. what cheese to eat...how to identify "healthier" protein options (ex. is shrimp healthy? is sausage healthy?)...what to eat when at a restaurant.. etc
Fifth: Leen will explain what the first diet, following the Launch phase of the Lean for Life, will look like , and how she will adapt it to your lifestyle. She will also answer any questions you have.
Step 3: You will receive the personalized meal plan of the Launch Phase discussed in clinic via email within 48 hours, adapted to fit YOUR lifestyle, YOUR likes and YOUR body/metabolism. Leen will also give you recommendations of great products that can make your grocery experience a lot easier. She will also provide you with some easy to prep recipes! She will be very specific, all you need to do is stick to it!
Step 4: Leen will be available for any questions via email.
Step 5: A follow up in-person visit will take place 2 weeks after the initial consultation (booked separately) , at the time you have scheduled. During the follow up:
First: Leen will go over your intake for the past 2 weeks. She will correct any misunderstandings, and listen to your feedback.
Second: You will get on the INBODY body composition analyzer again, and discuss changes: how much fat have you lost? what body parts lost fat? how did your muscle change? Water changes?
Third: Motivation is given, when needed
Fourth: A completely new meal plan following the Energize phase of the LEAN for Life plan will be explained to you in detail!
Step 6: A new, detailed meal plan will be emailed to you, to keep shocking your body!
